Simply the best food tour in Rome. Nesim speaks italian and english fluently and understands how and where cultural differences emerge between the italians and others. I learned so much! Be prepared to see Italy and Rome with new eyes after this lovely 5 hour jaunt around Testaccio.

Full Belly Tours with Nesim was one of the very best parts of our trip to Italy. Rome was our last stop before heading back to the States, and we decided to end our trip with a big food tour and it did NOT disappoint. We ate our weight in delicious and authentic cuisine and got a great history lesson throughout the day as well. We got to experience a less touristy neighborhood in Rome where we enjoyed fabulous restaurants, markets, pastry shops, gelato, and more. Every single ingredient was fresh, flavorful, and scrumptious. I still dream about the pastry dish we started the day with. BOOK THIS TOUR: you (and your belly) will be overjoyed!!

Nesim is the most competent and qualified tour guide I have ever been on a tour with on any of my travels abroad. Not only did we fill our bellies at five different locations, these were the best restaurants and bakeries in Rome I’ve ever eaten at. Not only did we have some of the most incredible food on the tour, his knowledge was absolutely worth the tour by itself. He was also extremely entertaining which made the tour never have a dull moment. I highly recommend this specific food tour to anyone and everyone visiting Rome. Especially families.

Nesim was the highlight of our trip to Roma! Food is such a large part of traveling throughout Italy - and he took straight to the heart of the city to Testaccio. Having grown up there - he knew every hidden gem and it was such a delight to see him interact with all his friends in the “old neighborhood”. The food was incredible - and the very best part is the knowledge he has. My husband and I learned so much about the neighborhood- old school cuisine - even how to prepare some of our favorite meals we had in Italy. A food tour is a must while in Italy and I wouldn’t even bother touring with another person. Nesim is such a genuine & friendly guide and we now are so happy to have a true friend abroad in Italy! We will definitely be touring again with Nesim when we are in Rome! This tour was the very best one we did in Rome by far! I’m always happy to speak with anyone about it!
Our food tour in Trastevere was a highlight of our 18 day trip across 5 cities/regions in Italy. Nesim was amazing! So knowledgeable about the city, culture, and cooking techniques for classic Roman cuisine. The food you get to try on this tour is delicious, and a really efficient way to make sure you try a lot of the major things Rome is known for. Plus, he shares a long list of recommendations at the end of the tour. We loved it!

Cannot recommend this enough! Nesim is a wealth of knowledge, super entertaining, and really cares about giving you a genuine experience. I'm usually hesitant to take tours and try to find more authentic experiences - trust me when I say, Nesim and his tour are authentic as they come. An absolute must-do and the highlight of our trip in Rome. Don't miss it.

We came to Rome in May in 2022. Amazing tour including history of the area along with full knowledge of local cuisine by local self proclaimed foody chef, Nesim. Nesim pulls from his extensive travel and bouts spent in different parts of the globe to help shine a light on his home. Wonderfully eloquent and generous with his time resources. My family will certainly be touring with Full Belly again.
